Iron hydroxide filters (III), due to its chemical activity, it is well suited for the connection of arsenate, phosphate or sulphide ions in liquid media. The technical application of this adsorbent material has failed in the past due to the fact that, normally, iron hydroxide is present in the form of paste, so the complicated handling did not allow the use in filter columns. Due to a patented process, it was able to manufacture an adsorbent material based on iron hydroxide in granular form. Different granulations are obtained by grinding and sifting processes. Thus, various new fields of application for the ultra-reactive chemical compound - iron hydroxide (III) are opened .
