Simple solution for highly dirty wastewater and relatively low flows
The waste water is fed into a retention basin and evenly distributed over the filter tape. The treated wastewater flows through the tape into the basin below, the solid substances or sludge remaining on the tape. With the help of a pump, filtered water is re-transported in the technological process. When the belt is heavily loaded with solids or sludge the flow decreases constantly and the level of waste water in the basin increases. A level sensor engages the conveyor gear of the belt. Thus the dirty tape is transported further being replaced by clean material. The water level drops. The dehydrated filtrate is automatically transported to the sludge basin. Filtering takes place without interruption due to the automated process.
